Established in 1994, Current Oncology ,  is a Canadian based and Internationally distributed journal, committed to the Canadian oncology community as well as oncology communities around the world. Published bi-monthly plus special supplemental issues, Current Oncology represents a multidisciplinary medium encompassing health care workers in the field of cancer therapy to report upon and to review progress in the management of this disease. Current Oncology is published by Multimed Inc.
The ART for Cancer Group is a collective of artists from around the globe, who have united in the fight against cancer, by donating a portion of their art sales to cancer charity. A big thank you to all the artists who participated.

We’re celebrating our anniversary with the launch of our new web site (www.artforcancergroup.com) and group logo. The purpose of this site is to consolidate all of the group’s online touch points, as well as to bring all our members together under one umbrella. This will also form our key launch pad to further promote the art, artists and cancer charities associated with the group.

This new site would not have been possible without the hard work and support of many people, and a great big thank you goes out to:

1.        Michelle Hernandez, of My Creative Diva, who helped us get started on this venture by putting together the template/Wordpress Theme.

2.       Dorit Fuhg, who has put her magic design touch throughout, freshened up the look of the site, and designed our new logo.

3.       And all our members who have actively participated in the group, including the great support we get from our administrative team: Mikki Cucuzzo; Casey Shannon and Gary Paakkonen.

I’m very excited about the many promotional activities we have coming up and look forward to a year of growth, both in membership as well as in donations to cancer charity.
